Amigos de Animales sterilized 282 dogs and cats in the month of August. The August Blitz in Independencia was very successful. 195 dogs and cats were sterilized with the kind assistance of Vets from Queretero and San Miguel and many volunteers from the community . Also, 58 animals were sterilized when the mobile clinic went to the outlying communities of Los Cabras, La Esperanza and Laguna Escondido and 29 at the Clinic at the Pound. Our affiliate Adopciones de Amigos adopted out 23 Pound dogs during the month.
