The Board of Amigos de Animales of San Miguel de Allende regretfully announces the retirement of our Founder and President Arno K. Naumann as of December 31, 2014. It is impossible to adequately express our gratitude for his fourteen years of service during which more than 15,000 dogs and cats have been sterilized.
Mario Ruiz Uribe has been elected President of Amigos, and while the present Board remains intact, we are pleased to also welcome three new members, to be announced after our annual meeting in February.
Be assured that our services which include sterilizations at the Clinic and the Mobile Clinic as well as our Blitzes, will continue as before. Although sterilization remains our top priority, we are very pleased to welcome the growing number of lower income residents who bring their dogs and cats to Omar and Vanessa for low cost veterinary care at our Clinic in San Rafael.
