As we come to the close of 2025, the Board of Directors of Amigos de Animales San Miguel de Allende would like to thank our generous donors, our fabulous volunteers and the tireless doctors of the Secretaría de Salud del Estado de Guanajuato y Jurisdicción Sanitaria II for working with us towards a better life for the cats and dogs in our community. This year, we have sterilized almost 2800 cats and dogs, a record for our organization. With these free sterilizations we have saved tens of thousands of cats and dogs from a life of hunger, fear, and misery.
Amigos de Animales San Miguel de Allende has been operating our free sterilization programs in San Miguel de Allende since 2001 in a unique collaboration with Secretaría de Salud del Estado de Guanajuato y Jurisdicción Sanitaria II, under the leadership of Dr. Miguel Ángel Chavira Guerrero and Dra. Adriana Gutierrez Morales. Since our founding 24 years ago, we have sterilized almost 34,000 cats and dogs with zero municipal financial support and only with funds raised through private individual donations.
We need your financial help NOW to continue on our mission to reduce the suffering and misery caused by massive overpopulation of cats and dogs here in around San Miguel de Allende.
